integrity for sale (1)
Every year at tax time, it seems like thoughts of cheating on taxes or cutting corners seem to creep into my mind. As that happens, I have learned to ask this question: “How much is your integrity worth?”
Can my integrity really be bought for a couple hundred bucks? Couple thousand? Could it be bought for $100,000 or $500,000?
After asking this question, I usually come to the conclusion that my integrity is not for sale. Not for a couple hundred bucks, not even for a million (not that I will ever have to face that temptation).
Being true to God and to the principles that I live by are not negotiable.
So, the next couple of blogs, I’m going to get a little vulnerable and post a few areas where, “Selling out my integrity,” seems to occasionally be a temptation.
